While preparing for our upcoming exhibition, we warmly invite you to visit our gallery between April 1 and April 15 to view a pop-up presentation by Uroš Weinberger. On display are five of his recent works, created between 2023 and 2024.
These works reflect Weinberger’s ongoing exploration and questioning of the ideological foundations of contemporary technological and civilizational development. In his practice, the artist highlights the tension between futuristic promises and their ethical as well as environmental implications—particularly in relation to transhumanism, cosmism, effective altruism (EA), and longtermism. The works raise questions of human responsibility in an age of technological fundamentalism, offering a critical perspective on the hidden currents of power that seek to shape our future under the shadow of utilitarian logic.
